SSR Back End Developer (Shared Services) Finalis is building the largest investment banking platform in the world. We deliver a one-stop-shop to engage with and drive results for independent MA advisories, placement agencies, and boutique investment banks. Join us in disrupting the securities industry, for good. As Finalis continues to rapidly grow, we seek to bring on a skilled Senior Back End Developer. You will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the different services (microservices, node/typescript), and ensuring high performance (through establishing SLA’s) and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application through correct maintenance of the gateway service (Apollo GraphQL). Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies are necessary as well. Among its responsibilities are: Enabling user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications Implementation of security and data protection Integration of data storage solutions, we currently use Sequelize as the main ORM, persisting in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
