We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full-Sack Developer knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Java to work remotely from anywhere in LATAM. You will be working for a US client in an agile environment, with an awesome team on the implementation of world-class software products. The responsibilities of this position are: Provide technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement. Provide process, data, and object modeling in a variety of application and databaseenvironments. Provide database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management andcoordination of changes to existing applications. Maintain senior-level expertise and currency in industry-leading technologies. Discuss technical solutions and recommendations to customers, providing innovative new ideaswhen possible. Collaborate with designers, back end developers, business analysts, and QA to deliver successfulbusiness solutions. Participate in and/or lead estimation activities. Participate in frequent front end development department meetings to share tips, tricks, andexciting new technologies with other passionate developers Requirements 7+ years proven experience in frontend and Java backend development. Prior enterprise environment experience and consulting experience preferred. Knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Hands-on design and development experience with the Java platform. Deep and broad technical knowledge – including recent hands-on programming skills – in the Java platform (JDK 8 or higher). Significant experience with multiple core technologies in the J2EE platform (v5 or higher, e.g. –EJB, JSF, JMS, etc.). Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle, MySQL, or other equivalent RDBMS. Successful completion of multiple projects working in an Agile team environment. Experience with designing and implementing large software systems, and working withdistributed teams to deliver them in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. Experience participating in estimation sessions and providing accurate estimates on new work. Detail-oriented. Ability and willingness to teach and learn from others. Excellent communication skills. Leadership skills. Full-time availability. Nice to have: Familiarity with NPM (Node Package Manager). Experience with typescript. Familiarity with spring framework.
