We're looking for a developer experienced with React Native to join our team. You’ll work with thoughtbot teammates and our clients to build great products that delight users, while using investment time to improve yourself, our company, and our community. thoughtbot is a Work From Anywhere company. This is a fully-remote position on the Lift Off team, which focuses on building significant initial versions of new products for existing companies and new startups. We're looking for teammates who overlap with our clients' working hours— this position is available to anyone throughout the Americas (UTC-3 through UTC-10). Requirements thoughtbot mobile developers are able to build high-quality applications. We are looking for candidates with an excellent knowledge of JavaScript, and building cross-platform mobile applications with React Native. While React Native is a must, additional experience or interest in native mobile development, such as iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin, web development, especially with Ruby on Rails, or other languages is a big plus. Very well-qualified candidates will also have experience with consulting and have a proven track record of attracting potential customers. Benefits For US-based team members thoughtbot pays at least 90% of the medical insurance premiums for individuals, 80% for their families for all medical plans, and 100% of the premium for employees and their families for our core dental plan and vision coverage. Team members accrue 20 paid vacation days and receive 11 paid holidays per year in addition to 10 paid sick days.
