**This position is a remote working OR Phoenix-based position.** Pega Developer at Redflex are part of a community that design and create leading-edge solutions that make our cities and our lives more green, safer, and smarter. The Pega Developer is responsible for designing, developing or modifying software for Redflex’s core application processing platforms. Develops, analyses, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. Participates in the design, development and implementation of applications, often using new technologies. Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery of software applications. Skilled and certified (CSA minimum) on the Pega PRPC platform with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Works on simple to moderate complexity tasks. Seeks guidance from senior engineers for best practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. This position does not sponsor H1B visa's EOE Equal Opportunity Employer   Requirements Work with Software Lead to: Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established Pega PRPC standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Analyse and resolve technical and application problems. Participate in agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives. Planning, processing and performing own work in an efficient manner with minimal assistance from senior engineers/ supervisor as part of an agile development team. Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.   EXPERTISE REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE 3+ Years of enterprise software design skills in one or more development languages and deep knowledge Pega PRPC. PEGA CSA certified Base knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, micro-services and service-oriented architecture. Ability to analyse, design and support implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience Ability to translate business requirements into functional technical requirements using Pegasystems tools. Some experience on implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, Email etc.   ROLE REQUIREMENTS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a good understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into practical applications and operational solutions. Proven experience in system design and development. Aptitude to work as change agent that believes in a continuous improvement approach.
