Now we need your help. Ready to make a difference in the world? We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of very talented Engineers. If you are a strong leader and communicator who can balance technical knowledge with business needs and have led teams developing scalable enterprise SaaS products, let’s talk! Requirements Mentor, manage, and grow a team of distributed Engineers by instilling and advocating best practices Foster an environment of involvement and open communication - Engineering is a team sport at SocialChorus Drive the creation of solutions for our most challenging technical problems as they relate to scaling and automation Communicate your passion for building quality software and motivate others to do the best work of their lives Develop career pathing and manage performance of your team members Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as part of the engineering management team Drive Agile and QA best practices Qualifications 5+ years of Manager or Technical Lead level experience in a startup-like environment developing SaaS applications/platforms Strong knowledge in OOD, Domain-driven design, and microservices architecture Excellent communication skills and understanding of the realities of developing in a startup environment (ie. you know the difference between small problems and big ones) Familiarity with our technology stack or similar (Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node, and more!)
