The Nitty Gritty: Big Viking Games is looking for a Senior Product Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product portfolio, including the development of new products and the optimization of existing products. The Product Manager will work closely with the product development, content, art, analytics, and marketing teams to ensure that the product portfolio meets the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the gaming industry, live operations, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to think strategically. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of successful product launches and product optimization. This is a 100% remote position. The Duties: Regularly conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of content production and merchandising strategies, using results to inform decision-making and optimize performance Continually monitor and analyze performance metrics post-implementation to assess the success of changes and make necessary adjustments for continual improvement Provide guidance to the art and game design team based on data-driven insights, facilitating the creation of compelling and monetizable game content that resonates with our player base Oversee live operations to ensure smooth gameplay experiences, timely content updates, and effective resolution of any technical issues Regularly review and analyze revenue performance, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing any areas of concern to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded Serve as the advocate for our player base, taking ownership of the Net Promoter Score (NPS) and using player feedback to inform product decisions Requirements 2+ years of related experience in a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Portfolio Director role 1+ years of experience at a live operations game company 2+ years of experience at a F2P games company Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing complex data sets, with the ability to write comprehensive reports that summarize key findings and provide strategic recommendations for action Proven experience managing a diverse range of content and adept at handling frequent content updates, demonstrating agility and responsiveness to changing market trends and customer preferences Proficiency in applying the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) of marketing in an analytical context, utilizing these principles to inform data-driven portfolio management strategies Possesses a proactive interest in exploring the intersection of AI / ML and gaming, with a focus on how AI can enhance gameplay and market research in an open-world RPG Strong preference for candidates with a quantitative or analytical product management background Benefits The Loot: Competitive salary, bonus program, Group Retirement Savings Plan matching participation in the Employee Stock Option Plan Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, and vision), including generous time off policies
