Sympower is a Flexibility Service Provider As a Flexibility Service Provider Sympower offers customers the opportunity to optimize their energy strategy by leveraging the flexibility of their resources and processes. When customers connect to the Sympower Platform our smart automated software identifies, unlocks, and dispatches the available flexibility on different energy markets to maximize its value. By connecting to the Sympower Platform customers are enabled to reduce their electricity cost or increase the ROI on their energy investments but also help balancing the grid. As a Product Manager you will be the bridge between the customer, business, product, and software engineering teams. As the product manager you are responsible to identify the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfil. Our challenge as a product team (and as a Product Manager) is to answer the question ‘are we building the right thing to create value for our customers?’. The Product Manager responsibilities are: · Always asking questions to determine why and what your team should build · Co-create with the other Product Managers and stakeholders the Product Roadmap · Do customer, competitor, and market research · Prioritizing product features and capabilities · Set goals, define success, and motivate your team · Outlines the plan for achieving success · Owns team backlog and fulfilment work · Provide context and direction in order to empowering your development team · Aligning stakeholders around the product features The focus of the Senior Product Manager Business Growth Market Access As the Senior Product Manager Business Growth Market Access your challenge is to identify and assess the business opportunities that will drive the growth of the Sympower business. Business opportunities are for example entering new (energy) markets (market access) in new or existing countries, integrating with new partners (e.g., an energy company) or new technologies (e.g., energy storage) in the Sympower platform. You and your team will be working closely with our customers, sales managers, experts, and sales engineers in the field to discover, prioritize, develop, and implement the new features that create value for our customers and partners.
