WHY YOU'RE SO COOL You're an experienced React Native Engineer looking to work with a small and seasoned team to make a real impact (and be an owner) in a successful early-stage company. You understand how to scale and what it takes to implement native apps to do so. You are excited about writing fast, test-driven, clean, and reusable code. We run on AWS, using Serverless and Appsync GraphQL, so having experience with this technology or a good grasp of these concepts is required. WHAT YOU OFFER US Own relationships with other engineering teams and work with other parts of the organization Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes Mentor engineers, both senior and junior Architect and design critical systems and plan for scaling-related challenges Lead by example, which includes writing clean, well tested, and maintainable code Completion of a successful background check Qualifications: 5+ years of front end development experience, including concepts like advanced CSS, application architecture, and writing composable components 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6 2+ years of experience working with bare React Native Deep experience with native features like push notifications, offline support, and screen based navigation Deep experience with native build tools like Fastlane, Xode, and Gradle Experience releasing applications to the iOS and Google Play stores Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience with Typescript Experience with Apollo and GraphQL Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus but not required WHAT WE OFFER YOU Competitive salary Fully paid medical, dental, and vision for you and your family Stock options (everyone in our company is an owner) Fun and creative workplace 3 Weeks paid vacation + company and national holidays Ability to work remote Opportunity to work in a low ego, high impact environment THINGS WE VALUE (and hope you do too!)
