Job Description About this role... Services include both maintenance and management services in support of Daisy’s technical solution areas. The applicant will be responsible for full lifecycle management of an existing product portfolio as well as introducing new products working alongside the product tower lead(s).The role will introduce, manage and monitor the product(s) in life. The success of the role will be dependent on working in virtual teams and influencing key stakeholders from around the business. The role will be primarily internal facing with external facing responsibilities on occasion. In general, providing assistance to the sales community is a vital part of the position. The role will incorporate vendor and supplier relationships. The successful applicant will be the DCS lead for the relationship with vendors that support the product area. Responsibilities · At all times working toward making the product services portfolio ‘Easy to buy and easy to sell’ · Identification and introduction of new product / capabilities to be offered · Manage products in life to track service value to the customer and Daisy · Follow Daisy’s Portfolio Management processes · Supporting the sales community in their understanding and use of the products · Input into the creation of cost models and pricing tools · Leading virtual teams to deliver product activity such as on boarding new products or propositions · Stakeholder engagement · Reporting on product portfolio · Input into product roadmaps · Implementation of and collaboration on best practice for lifecycle management · Business improvement · Creation of business plans / business cases to support training and investment in new capabilities To liaise with manufacturers for technical updates and support for the technologies used Vendor management including but not exclusive to, monthly meetings, sales tracking, business plan creation Travelling between different Daisy and vendor premises in order to efficiently conduct business Working as part of a virtual go to market team alongside colleagues in sales, marketing, commercial and operations Qualifications What do we need from you? Knowledge, Skills, Experience - Knowledge of IT Services including maintenance, support and management and the differences therein - Essential - Ability to work in virtual geographically dispersed teams - Essential - ITIL Certification – Desired - Experience in product lifecycle management – Desired - To be technically and commercially aware of the market and have a full understanding of the technical, business and commercial propositions on offer - Knowledge of Sales/Operational processes and their interaction with the Project Delivery Teams - Strong organisational and interpersonal skills - Good time management skills - Strong attention to detail and diligence - Excellent written skills - Ability to assess urgency and quickly reorganise workloads according to priority - Good oral and communication skills with the ability to articulate a message to a mixed audience, from managerial/strategic personnel to technical personnel Additional Information Did we mention the perks?
