The Role We are seeking a forward thinking Digital Product Manager to help bring a growing number of superb, openly licensed Math and ELA curricula to K–12 schools across the country. This role will focus on translating our curricula courses to digital environments and platforms, focusing on maximizing the features available while retaining the integrity of the content. You will work with our Product and Academics, Equity, and Social Justice teams to achieve these results.  Our organization is driven by our social justice mission to put high-quality curricula in front of as many students and teachers as possible.  Requirements Key Responsibilities  Work with stakeholders and the Director of Product to implement a comprehensive digital platform strategy to include partnerships and proprietary options. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for collaboration in the education technology space. Evaluate potential vendor partners on their value to users and alignment with company mission, vision and objectives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key external partners and internal stakeholders. Maintain expert knowledge and documentation of our curricula in digital environments. Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to integrate digital offerings and Open Up Resources’ print products. Identify, define and prioritize new and existing digital  features based on value and partner capabilities. Communicate with stakeholders about the value, progress and challenges of deliverables. Participate in acceptance testing, and onsite visits to ensure products are valuable and usable. Analyze feedback, metrics and market conditions to inform product development and prioritizations. Communicate with sales, marketing and professional learning teams about messaging and positioning to ensure successful product launch. Partner with Math and ELA Product Managers to develop best practices on key work streams associated with digital and print regarding content sync across platforms and mediums.  Core Competencies Ethics and Integrity: Behave in a fair and ethical manner toward peers, partners, and customers; instill mutual trust and confidence; acts with honesty and integrity.Planning, Organizing and Goal Setting: Demonstrates the ability to organize people and tasks; develops realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability; defines realistic, specific goals and objectives; prioritizes objectives. Job Qualifications Excellent organizational and time management skills with a virtual environment. Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent demonstrated experience. 3-5 years of experience with content or learning management systems. Background in education or educational technology required.   Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing relevant stakeholders. Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
