You will be the product manager for the Company's flagship managed service for Presto. In this role, you will drive all the cloud orchestration and full stack user experience to take the Presto query engine and bring to life our vision of a simplified, performant SQL experience on the modern data lake. You will also coordinate with the database and Presto team to expose differentiating query engine core capabilities for this simplified SQL experience. You will lead the charge to deliver product outcomes that bring value and drive impact for our customers. To do this, you will own the entire product lifecycle: vision, strategy, discovery, and delivery. Ultimately, you will be the go-to authority and product expert for this product area. Responsibilities Discover, validate, and articulate product opportunities from customer engagements, competitive intelligence, and industry trends. Understand the customer use case and experience deeply, serving as our internal voice-of-the-customer. Prioritize opportunities and backlog items with defensible reasoning Collaborate with and across product and development teams to develop and deliver solutions for product opportunities Enable our go-to-market and support teams for product adoption and success Define product strategy and roadmaps, serving as a key stakeholder for business and technology strategy. Qualifications Working proficiency with cloud computing and infrastructure, particularly with AWS: virtual private networks, S3, Kubernetes (i.e. AWS EKS), monitoring and observability Familiarity with cloud and data infrastructure enterprise security needs, such as: AWS and general identity and access management, enterprise identity providers (e.g. Okta) Basic proficiency in UX design (preferred) and/or collaborating with designers Computer science or engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience Excellence written, verbal, and critical thinking skills to synthesize and communicate complex technical and business issues.
