Description: Looking for a knowledgeable Mac Platform Engineer that possesses advanced knowledge in one or more of the following: Cisco AnyConnect Splunk Patch Management Automation MacOS hardening and deployments of latest OS JAMF Compliance Reporter Job Description: To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends. Responsibilities: Full life-cycle project management Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems Document new system components, or modifications to existing components Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions Strong understanding of Apple culture and Mac Infrastructure Experience integrating Macs in an Active Directory environment Experience using Enterprise Connect/NoMAD/Jamf Connect Ability to configure and troubleshoot Mac Desktop and Server related issues Experience using Jamf to manage Macs Experience with Patch Management in a Mac environment Experience using Mac software packaging tools Basic knowledge of virtualization of MacOS Basic Bash scripting knowledge Experience deploying Macs using Apple Business Manager and DEP Strong troubleshooting theory; ability to diagnose issues surrounding the Mac environment Jamf Certified Administrator (Jamf 300 or better) Fluent in Bash scripting, Zshell, and Python Automation of macOS devices in Enterprise environments Deep understanding of PKI Network+ or network certifications preferred Apple Certified Technical Coordinator Demonstrated experience managing Macs in a Microsoft -centric environment Experience with 802.1x Ability to perform on call duties and other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Familiarity with engineering discipline Effective database and presentation software skills Effective organizational, planning and time management skills Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
