About the Opportunity We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Product to join the Love Your Melon team, part of Win Brands Group. The Director of Product will lead the development of new products from concept to completion, including driving a product roadmap that ensures the high quality materials, factory standards, and adherence to timelines are met. This candidate will also oversee all current product offerings, helping to refine processes, uphold quality, and continue to find and drive ways to lower costs. The right candidate can balance strategic and tactical tasks and has the leadership and tenacity to drive forward projects and products while having a team-first orientation. The role requires working cross-functionally with design, licensing, e-commerce, sourcing, driving revenue and conversion, and optimizing results across all sales channels. This role will report directly to the General Manager of Love Your Melon, and will manage the Product Development Manager. What You’ll Do Ideate, plan and produce products for Love Your Melon that meet product quality and margin expectations. Interpret market trends and consumer needs and translate them to actionable product concepts, key category development, and overall customer experience while being true to our brand ethos. Create, maintain, and effectively communicate product roadmaps, including near-term delivery and 1-2 year product evolutions that engage stakeholders across the organization and align and support business KPIs. Approve new products and review all POs before placement with factories. Oversee and manage LYM’s current product offering from start to finish, with the support of cross-functional teams. Build channel-specific product assortments and programs based on channel needs (i.e. wholesale, amazon, eCom). Work closely with our Sourcing and Operations team to assess the existing supplier network, improve margins, and align lead times and product launches. Work closely with Customer Experience and Demand Planning teams to understand existing item sales and develop new product forecasts and merchandising strategies. Work confidently in a fast-paced environment, be open to change, problem solve, and act nimbly when faced with challenges. Additional duties as necessary.
