This position will report directly to the EMEA Lead, IS. As a member of Intelligence Solutions, you will join a culturally diverse team to help build a culture where resiliency, responsiveness and critical thinking is integrated into every aspect of what we do. POSITION OVERVIEW As an Intern at Everstream Analytics you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that help build sustainable supply chain operations. You’ll apply your curiosity and interest in world affairs to enable our customers to make sense of supply chain risks their businesses are exposed to. This a 6 month program working full time with the possibility of becoming a permanent role at the end of the term. 100% remote. Key Responsibilities Analyze incoming data streams and report time-sensitive risk alerts based on information obtained from open source media. Write short, real time alerts and longer, ad-hoc risk analysis reports on critical events. Monitor current affairs with a focus on the Americas, identify new sources and establish regional networks for intelligence gathering. Requirements Enrolled or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or any other Social Sciences. Passion for current affairs and news, with knowledge of socioeconomic political dynamics in Europe, Middle East Africa, and a basic understanding of supply chain processes. Proficiency in other languages, such as German, French, Italian, Portuguese would be helpful Ability to act in a global environment, with good interpersonal skill and understanding of cultural differences and behaviors. Ability to work in a fluid and fast paced environment, and manage uncertainty.
