NOTE ON LOCATION: Position is Remote, Office-Based (Carlsbad, CA) or Hybrid (Carlsbad, CA / remote) Hydrosat is a data analytics and satellite Earth observation company leveraging thermal infrared and multi-spectral data to deliver insights into crop health, drought and wildfire risk, industrial activity, and defense situational awareness to government and commercial customers. We are seeking an experienced software engineering manager to support the development of new tools to create science-quality surface reflectance and land surface temperature analysis-ready data from Hydrosat’s Earth observation constellation. This role will appeal to candidates that are looking to use their leadership and software engineering skills to make an impact on the world in agriculture, climate, and public safety applications. The right candidate will be endlessly excited about growing and developing a team of world class software engineers and data scientists working in the domains of imaging science, computer vision, and large-scale data processing.
