Keyo is looking for a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Biometric Lead. As the Senior Biometric Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading and advancing our biometrics team, focusing on computer vision, neural networks, and various aspects of biometric technologies. Your expertise in these areas, combined with your deep understanding of the biometrics space, will drive the development and implementation of innovative biometric solutions for our organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of biometric engineers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Design, develop, and optimize biometric algorithms and systems, with a specific focus on computer vision, neural networks, and related technologies. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in biometrics, computer vision, and neural networks, and identify opportunities to apply them effectively in our organization. Provide technical guidance and expertise in biometrics to internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biometric technologies into our products, services, and systems. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and performance issues related to biometric systems, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and academic institutions to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the biometrics space. Participate in the evaluation and selection of biometric hardware and software solutions, ensuring they align with our requirements and industry best practices. Assist in the development and implementation of biometric policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy laws. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A master's or doctoral degree is preferred. Extensive experience (8+ years) working in the field of biometrics, with a strong focus on computer vision, neural networks, and related technologies. Proven track record of leading and managing biometrics teams, driving successful projects from concept to completion. Demonstrated work experience with a biometric product  Deep understanding of biometric principles, algorithms, and technologies, including fingerprint recognition, facial recognition, iris recognition, voice recognition, and behavioral biometrics. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in biometrics, such as Python, C++, or Java. Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with biometric systems integration, particularly within the point-of-sale (POS) domain, is highly desirable. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and protocols, such as ISO/IEC 19794 and ANSI/NIST-ITL, as well as data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically about biometric solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
