Position Overview: We’re looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our backend development team to modernize our ecommerce platform and website. This is a remote role to lead and manage high-visibility, complex projects with large-scale and high-impact systems. A strong predictor for success will be evident in a candidate who: Excellent learning skills The spirit of getting things done with high velocity Ability to accept and offer constructive criticism Responsibilities for a Software Development Manager will include: Build a high-performance team and help create a mission-driven culture Manage performance and growth for high-performing team members Plan and track day-to-day activities for developers in the team Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase Mentoring team members and modeling best coding practices Contribute towards architecture and design decisions. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
