Our Associate Product Manager role is ideal for someone looking to break into Product Management or an Associate (Junior) Product Manager looking to develop their skills in a role where they will have plenty of autonomy and independence. Once you have developed your deep understanding of our customers, your internal stakeholders and our vision, you will have the opportunity to take on greater and greater autonomy and responsibility in managing the discovery, design and delivery of product solutions that make a real difference in supporting businesses that are at the forefront of providing invaluable services to those in need in our communities. What you’ll do: Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Therefore, a key focus area will be supporting the product function in analysing customer feedback and customer interviews to develop a deep understanding of our market, customer personas, how they work, their pain points, macro trends. Help define and shape our product roadmap - using your deep knowledge of our customers’ needs, our strategic vision and understanding of internal systems to prioritise development projects. Collaborate across the whole organisation to bring them along the journey of product discovery and exploration, and support the daily decisions required to build a great products. Work with product design and engineering to design solutions that really solve the heart of our customers’ problems Write and manage product specifications that can be understood across the whole organisation, from the customer success to engineering Work closely with all areas of the business to maintain the product backlog Support the management of product release plans and provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals Requirements   Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is: Full of curiosity and is energised by learning new things Self-motivated, independent and can take the initiative when they see an opportunity to solve a problem for our customers or our business Pragmatic, happy to get stuck in to reach a collective objective and willing to wear multiple hats Able to marry strong analytical skills with an ability to bring deep empathy and EQ to your analysis A strong communicator, who can take complex issues or big, ambitious ideas and distill them down into clear and concise points. Able to effectively multitask, prioritise, organise and collaborate, especially on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously Whilst not essential there are a couple of things in your experience that we would consider a plus: Experience working in a software business, particularly a SaaS business and a B2B SaaS business would be even better. Knowledge of Agile processes and principles, and the common tools used by development teams to manage the development cycle Hands-on experience working in small startups that are growing Please note: Australian work rights required to apply.
