Join us.The Associate Product Manager position will consist of multiple roles in the product management organization including market assessment, product planning as well as product operations duties. The APM position will allow for exposure amongst the different roles to allow the individual to grow and develop professionally into a Product Manager. The APM will be accountable for individual pieces or whole products of Greenway’s software/services which may include PL responsibility, developing feature epics, training, assessing the market, competitive analysis, pricing, product strategy and product planning. The Associate Product Manager contributes largely to the overall success of specific products and in assuring a market driven focus for product management.Essential Duties ResponsibilitiesDevelops feature epics and ensures epics are ‘ready’ for individual user story breakoutEnsures each epic as the correct acceptance criteriaProvides clear and consistent direction to Product OwnersGathers, manages and prioritizes the product backlog; backlog groomingResponsible for release tracking and accountable for solution deliveryPL and Forecasting management for parts of product or whole product depending on sizeGathers input to define product concepts and assists team in developing detailed requirements and feature definitionsHelps evaluate technologies and implementation plan related to business case developmentDefines market for product line and develops user personasAssesses the market, identifies competitive offerings, understands and communicates their niche, approach and success in the marketAssesses product capabilities and communicates requirements.Responsible for portfolio view of defect management and quality of product lineFacilitates product council agenda, notes and action registersDevelop and maintain solution delivery timelines and plansWorks with customer facing teams and to ensure readiness and excellent executionUnderstands, interprets, and develops insights with respect to individual practice needs and revenue cycle analytics and reportingConduct user and revenue cycle industry research to gain insight into specific user pain points, including: competitive analysis, payer updates and broader industry developments that may impact the product/s they are responsible forInstill strong product team culture by encouraging a bias for action, communication, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementEstablish strong partnerships with functional leads across the company to execute end-to-end from product vision to go-to-market launchExperience and EducationBachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.Pragmatic Product Management or CSPO preferred.Two (2) or more years of experience with the full life cycle of Product Development, preferably in a healthcare setting or with a focus on healthcare IT.Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesHighly motivatedAbility to manage priorities in a fast-moving environmentAdvanced computer skillsUnderstanding of healthcare market and trendsStrong quantitative/qualitative business case analysis skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailability to manage multiple efforts in a cross-functional environmentThe drive to proactively resolve issues.Proficient in developing and conducting presentations at all levels.Experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements.Creative problem solver that works with Product Managers to deliver products that support our clients’ regulatory compliance.Ability to travel up to 20%Work Environment/Physical DemandsWhile at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday.This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of their workday.This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices.The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates.The work environment is an open room with other associates and noise from others will be part of the regular workday.This role may occasionally require hours/days outside of normal business hours/days.This role may require 10-20% travel on occasion.Here’s what we can offer you in exchange for your amazing work:Competitive payMedical, dental and vision benefitsMatching 401(k)Generous paid time-off programsEducation reimbursementGrowth potential for your careerCorporate discountsAt Greenway, we strive to imagine, empower, engage, and inspire.
