As the Information Technology intern, you will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. This full-time or part-time internship is for an undergraduate student or recent graduate to take a hands-on approach with managing the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies used throughout the organization. The intern will handle the administration of employee accounts and company records. Duties will include setting up Active Directory accounts, emails, distribution lists, groups permissions, IT troubleshooting emails and systems for users (IT Helpdesk), and Google Drive transition.  Full-time: 35-40 hours per week Part-time: 15-20 hours per week Internship Contract: 3-6 months  Schedules are flexible based on the candidate’s academic schedule.    Scope Responsibilities: Assist in IT troubleshooting emails and systems for users (IT Helpdesk) Create, maintain, and revise user accounts and access across a wide range of domains and applications. Manage users, groups, distribution lists, permissions, and licenses in Active Directory environment and productivity systems (Office365, G-Suite, NetSuite, GitHub, Jira etc) Monitor, plan, and perform application and service pack installation and upgrades; maintain site licenses for department and organization Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties Handle the organization’s Google Drive and inventory of all hardware and software resources Prove occasional emergency on-call support Provide remote end-user technical support through basic technical troubleshooting skills   Basic Qualifications: Working towards or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or of an equivalent field Relevant work or experience with positive references Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-suite, and Windows Active Directory Working knowledge of computer networking, domain controllers, VLANs, Cisco firewall is a plus A thorough knowledge of computers, servers, and operating systems Highly self-motivated and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills Desire to learn and continually improve self and others through knowledge sharing Relevant work experience with positive references   Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Agile development environment; JIRA experience is a plus Solid knowledge in LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with routers, switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology Familiarity with the fundamental principles, and service desk operations is a plus ** Swyft, Inc. embraces diversity.
